TEHRAN – Iran defeated Pakistan 2-0 (15-9, 16-10) in the quarterfinals round of the 2025 Asian Beach Handball Championship semi-finals on Tuesday.

Iran will play Oman in the final on Thursday.

Team Melli, who had previously defeated Pakistan in Group B, booked their place in the Beach Handball World Championship.

The tournament is being held at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat, Oman, from May 6 to 15.
